In addition to working at JPMorgan Chase, I’ve also been freelancing with My Studio 23 for the past four years. I started out as an assistant to the owner, Jennifer Martini, and slowly became the lead photographer. Within two years, I went from being an assistant to having an assistant. The change was a little scary but I had an amazing mentor and friend behind me. Jenni calmed my fears and guided me to develop my own style.

This year My Studio 23 is retiring from weddings. I am eternally grateful for the time spent working side by side with Jenni. We shared email communications with clients and ran meetings together. We had many wonderful weekends photographing couples and dancing the night away on their special day. I am heart broken to be losing my partner in crime but I am glad for the changes to come.

While My Studio 23 expands their portrait business, I am starting anew with Ashley Rene Photography. I am extremely excited to branch off on my own! My commitment is to provide photography that everyone can afford, while maintaining a combination of photojournalistic, traditional, and candid styles. I aim to deliver a stunning collection of images, as well as, a fabulous and stress-free experience allowing you to be fully present in every meaningful moment.

As this new journey starts for Ashley Rene Photography, I want to thank My Studio 23 and Jennifer Martini for being my rock, sounding board, and inspiration. I learned more about the business and creative side of photography, than any classroom could teach. I appreciate your help and advice more than words can express!! Good luck with all your future endeavors.
